Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor based out of our Milton Head Office location.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
· Strong understanding of fresh fruit and vegetables in a foodservice environment
· Strong verbal and written skills - ability to communicate ideas and concepts effectively
· Leadership skills – ability to provide direction and communicate with all types of customers, including internal and external
· Good organizational ability – effectively prioritizes time
· Adaptability – ability to work within a changing environment and be a leader in initiating change
· Team player – ability to work in a team environment
· Must be a self starter and work well unsupervised
· Forklift operator’s license is an asset
· Strong computer skills
· Inventory control background
· Strong warehouse management skills
· Strong desire for future advancement
Job responsibilities include:
· Working with receiving team, inspecting / labeling and rotation of incoming stock
· Daily inspection of stock on hand
· Assessment of returned stock
· Processing of claims for product issues
· Initiating CFIA inspections when required
