Nigh Shift Material Handler

Shifts will begin between 8pm and 10pm and may include weekends and holidays.

 Position Overview

As a Night Material Handler you will be responsible for accurately selecting customers’ orders and properly prepping loaded pallets for shipping based on standard operating procedures in all three warehouse environments (dry, cooler and freezer). 

The starting wage is $15.61/hour, with a potential top rate of $24.39/hour. In addition to your hourly rate you will be eligible to receive performance bonuses after approximately 12 weeks.

Furthermore, you will be required to have open availability and able to work 40 hours a week

 Required Skills and Qualifications

• Grade 12 or high school diploma equivalent
• Ability to lift or move up to 60lbs frequently and repetitively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Frequent standing and walking
• Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
• Organizational, time management, attention to detail and prioritization skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Warehouse experience an asset
